Before your appointment
Prior to your appointment you will be sent key information via email.
When booking an appointment you will be given the option of an in clinic or online video session.
You will be asked to fill out an online questionnaire regarding any COVID-19 symptoms.
(Failure to do this will result in your appointment being denied and you will be obliged to pay for the full cost of the missed session.)
On the day of your appointment
Before you leave your house for the clinic please ensure you have used the lavatory and are well hydrated. Unfortunately drinking water will not be available within the clinic.
All patients should arrive at the clinic on their own, unless chaperoning a child for their appointment. Please note no babies/ children to accompany adults, due to infection control.
Please avoid bringing lots of belongings.
Please come changed and ready for your session. There will be no changing facilities available.
Entering the clinic
Once entering the main door of Fitness Republic you must sanitise your hands and then don a facemask. The wearing of gloves is also welcomed and encouraged in order to help minimise contact with any Physiotherapy clinic equipment.
We also ask that you arrive no earlier than your confirmed appointment time and proceed directly to the Physio Republic clinic room.
Your temperature will be taken by Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer before any treatment will be carried out. Anyone who displays a raised temperature will be refused treatment and asked to rebook once they have contacted 111 and followed any recommended treatment/isolation protocols.
Your Physio Session
Once all aforementioned checks have been carried out, the session then takes place as normal in a treatment room.
Your Physiotherapist will also be wearing PPE throughout the treatment session.
All rooms are cleaned between appointments, and all fabric surfaces have been removed.
Leaving the clinic
Your Physiotherapist will rebook your next session.
Payments will be processed via an online payment link..
We ask you to take your PPE with you and dispose of it outside the clinic as per guidelines.
